Every feature has been meticulously designed to provide DJs with a system that is both professional and highly efficient. This allows you to transition onto a club-standard set up with relative ease and provides you with a thorough understanding of how a professional DJ system works.
Main Features Explained:
The XDJ-RX2 DJ System features a large 7-inch, full-colour touch screen that allows you to search through your extensive digital music library quickly, thanks to the QWERTY keyboard. You can use the rotary control, found to the right of the screen, to navigate the various menus and settings; including options for track filter and a shortcut feature (taken from the CDJ-2000NXS2). Additionally, there is a needle search function which allows you to jump to a particular part of your track.
Pro DJ Features:
The two decks on the DJ controller are both equipped with eight large multi-coloured tactile performance pads which grant you access to eight hot cue slots as well as slip loop, beat loop and beat jump so you can creatively chop and manipulate your tracks on the go. The centrepiece of the RX2 is the mixer which mirrors a DJM-450MK2. It includes four Sound Colour FX and eight Beat FX that have been inherited from the 900NXS2, so you can apply extensive effects to your music and perform intricate mixing techniques.

With a high-quality build and an intuitive club-standard layout, Pioneer's XDJ-RX2 controller is perfect for home use. It is ideal for those who are after a compact setup yet does not compromise on key professional features which enable you to transfer your skills to a club setup with ease. The precise EQ controls and smooth channel faders let you execute transitions with style and flair. Also, the channel fader and crossfader curves are of an equally high standard to those found on the DJM-900NXS2 mixer.
A broad range of input/output options:
There are extensive input/output options including two USB-A ports for importing tracks onto the system, two microphone inputs for XLR and ¼-inch jack connections as well as AUX and two Line/Phono inputs so you can connect multi-players, turntables or portable players to the DJ system. When using the USB connection or Link Export modes you can use your PC/Mac to play your prepared tracks on the system without the need to export your tracks to a USB device. Alternatively, connect your iPhone, iPod touch or Android Smartphone to load tracks. The controller also includes a MIDI connection so you can use the XDJ as a controller for DJ software.
