Product Description
Ahhhhh... the world of Plants vs Zombies. Once upon a time it was a wee strategy game with a natty gimick that you could play on your phone. Now, it's one of the weirdest, most free-wheeling shoot-'em-ups on the market. It's the game you go to when you don't want to get shouted at by bloodthirsty American teens, when you just want to cut loose and have some extremely wacky fun. In Neighborville you can wander into downtown or creep around the Weirding Woods, but you'll always find a battle raging. Don't look for a campaign mode here - it's all about the battles (and the chances that a campaign would make any sense at all are, let's face it, pretty slim). You start in the Giddy Park social hub, where you can wander around chatting with other players, trying on new looks (every character is deeply customisable) or just generally having a lark. From there you can hop into a battle. There are six different player vs player modes, including the brand new Battle Arena, and all of them promise madness and mayhem. With PvE you can team up with a couple of your new friends from the social hub to roam freely around Weirding Woods, Mount Steep, and Neighborville Town Centre to take them back from occupying forces. With couch co-op play you can play with your friends or, in some cases, on top of them, riding around and taking crafty pot-shots while they deal out heavy damage. There are 20 different player classes available from launch, each with their own team play class, including a host of strange new plants (Snapdragon! Nightcap, master of shadows!) and sensational new zombies ('80s Action Hero! Electric Slide!) that you can thrust into battle with 24-player matches. The Battle for Neighborville is raging, and it needs you!
