This year's rosters and kits are present and accounted for, serving up the most authentic rugby gaming experience going. You can tackle official tournaments and leagues, even building your own team and putting them through their paces in career mode. There have been a host of changes out on the pitch, tightening up gameplay for a crisper experience. One highlight is the improvements made to set pieces, which previously had you pick one maneuver and then passively watch your players go through the motions, but now makes you time the passes yourself. Rucks also have more weight to them this time out, with players having to put a lot more work in to retaining the ball, especially when it's on the floor. Offloads have also been tightened up, opening up a range of new options on the field. With a two year development cycle behind it, the dev team has made a lot of changes since Rugby 20 and fans of the sport will want to check it out!
