A: While clearly used, the device will be in excellent cosmetic condition. The front and rear housing will show little or no sign of wear, with only very minor scratches or marks and no cracks present. One would look at such a device and believe it could be mistaken as an almost new item.

B+: This grade is for devices that are in very good condition but not quite an A. Often it’s just one small scratch too many, or additional wear in comparison to the above grade. Otherwise, it’s very clean. One would look at such a device and say, "It’s almost an A grade, if not for that small mark/scratch".

B: Indicates the device will be in good overall condition. The front and rear housing will show signs of wear and may have some scratches present from general day-to-day use. One would look at such a device and think "The owner took good care of this item or didn’t use it much". The screen will be clear or mostly clear of wear.

C+: This grade is for a device that while very well used is in good condition, but will have some spots that are just a bit "too" worn for a B Grade. This may mean the front or rear housing will have clear signs of usage and will have scratches or scuffs. Edges may have some finish worn off. The device may have a more worn back, but the screen is very clear. C+ devices are often what we would consider the best balance between value and condition.

C: Indicates the device will be in average or worn/poor cosmetic condition. The front and rear housing may have some scratches or cracks, but the screen will be intact and in full working order. The housing may have some spots that are dull from wear (such as from a case) to the point of paint coming off on corners or minor impact marks. The screen will most likely have some hairline marks and some scratches. Upon receipt of this device you would look and think "This is a well-used item, but with a cover, it will look fine"
