In the original film, Mick is an Australian bushman assigned to take care of a beautiful New York journalist (Linda Kozlowski) on assignment in the Outback. Attraction quickly flares between them, and when Mick saves the young woman from the jaws of a marauding croc, she asks him back to the States where he is an instant hit with jaded New York society. In the sequel, `Crocodile Dundee 2', Mick Dundee and Sue (the New York journalist) are happily living together in New York until some Columbian drugs dealers enter their lives and the adventures begin again.
