This Hornby model represents the iconic LNER Class A1 4-6-2 "Flying Scotsman" steam locomotive, numbered 4472. Finished in the classic LNER apple green livery, it captures the essence of the historic locomotive designed by Sir Nigel Gresley. The model is crafted in OO gauge (1:76 scale) and is suitable for 2nd radius curves or larger. It is DCC ready, featuring an 8-pin socket for easy decoder installation. Please note that the original box is not included. The locomotive is in good condition with minor marks and scuffs from previous use. Please examine the photos for a clearer idea of the item's condition.

We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 and aim to deliver the between 1-2 workings days. We will post to England, Wales and Southern Scotland and is £3.49 for parcels and £19.99 for larger (+20kg) parcels. This service ensures that your parcel can be tracked via the Royal Mail Tracking website as the tracking number will be provided for you. Please note that a signature will be required upon delivery. Large and/or heavy item postage prices may differ depending on the item.



We do not post to Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey.




We dispatch items within 1 working day. Please note that our courier cut off point is 2PM - any orders made after will be dispatched on the following working day.




COLLECTION ONLY: Any items we have placed on collection only are available to collect in person from our shop only. Please note that we offer a local delivery service for a additional fee within the Southampton area. We will not be posting any collection only items.
