The Hornby R.504 model represents the LNER Class J52 0-6-0 saddle tank steam locomotive, numbered 3111, finished in the traditional LNER black livery with gold lettering. Designed by Patrick Stirling and introduced in 1894, the J52 class was primarily used for shunting and light mixed traffic duties. This OO gauge model features a Type 7 motor mounted in a plastic and metal chassis, providing reliable performance on standard 2-rail DC systems. The locomotive includes factory-fitted handrails, pipework, turned brass safety valves, and a whistle, enhancing its realistic appearance. The model is presented in its original Hornby box, which may show signs of age such as marks or creases. Please examine the photos for a clearer idea of the item's condition.

We do not post to Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey.
