Westone Spectrum Series II Red Electric Guitar SSS Bendmaster Trem 1980s
Vintage super-strat from Westone’s sought-after Spectrum Series II, built c. 1987-88 and finished in glossy Candy Apple Red. It sports a fast 25.5" maple neck with 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, three original Ferrite single-coil pickups and the factory Bendmaster Deluxe tremolo with locking nut for rock-solid tuning. Controls are classic Strat-style—master volume, two tones and 5-way selector—giving everything from crystalline cleans to punchy lead tones. Recently tested: electrics, trem and tuners all work; truss rod turns and action is comfortable. Cosmetically it shows honest playwear—pick-scratches, small chips, lacquer swirls and a few buckle marks—but nothing that affects play. A great way to own an 80s Matsumoku-era Westone without the collector price tag.
Condition
Used – Good. Fully functional with noticeable surface marks, small paint chips and general playwear consistent with an old guitar. Frets have light wear but plenty of life; hardware is clean with mild tarnish. See photos for close-ups of wear points.
