Launched in 1981, this distinctive line features detailed, vibrant fish illustrations inspired by A.J. Lydon's historical 1800s artwork. This specific plate showcases a beautiful depiction of the Alpine Char (Salmo Alpinus) and Torgoch (No. 5 Salmo Perisii) against a scenic bank and water background. Finished with a classic dark green rim border, it serves as an excellent replacement piece or a striking decorative wall-hanging display for angling enthusiasts. Condition: Pre-owned in great vintage condition. The central transfer illustration remains bright, clear, and detailed, and the green rim trim shows only minimal signs of gentle previous handling. There are no chips, cracks, or visible crazing on the front ceramic glaze surface. The reverse features a clear, authentic grey Rococo-style backstamp.
