Both units are the classic grey original Game Boy model, designed for Nintendo Game Boy cartridges. The DMG-01 uses a monochrome LCD display and is powered by 4 x AA batteries. Nintendo’s technical data lists the original Game Boy screen resolution as 160 x 144 pixels and battery life of up to 30 hours depending on use. These are being sold as a restoration/spares and repairs pair due to the very poor cosmetic condition. Condition: Both consoles are in very bad cosmetic condition and need proper restoration. The casings show heavy yellowing, dirt, staining, scratches, age-related marks and general grime throughout. The battery compartments show visible dirt/residue and corrosion-style marking around the contacts and plastic areas. Screens and lenses show marks and dirt, and full screen quality has not been confirmed.
